James McGlothin, 52, was last seen driving on Highway 321 near Lenoir City, Tennessee on October 30, 1989. He had been working in Blount County and was believed to be going to a bank in Oliver Springs, Tn (around a 45-minute drive) with $18,000 cash to pay off a loan. His truck was found 2 weeks later in Athens, Tn, which is in the complete opposite direction of Oliver Springs.
The TBI is investigating his disappearance whenever leads filter through 615-744-4000.
