Travis Jeremy Wilson, 27, was last seen in the early morning hours of May 25, 2007, asleep in the den of his fathers’ home near Route 3 and Yoakum Lane in Middlesboro, Ky. When his father woke up later, he went to check on Travis, only to find out that he was no longer there. Travis did have a doctor’s appointment scheduled that day, but he didn’t show up for it.
Three weeks later, his 1996 Toyota Camry was found abandoned on a remote access road on Fonde Mountain, in Bell County, Kentucky. It had a flat tire, and the jack was out of the trunk giving the impression that there had been an attempt made to change the tire.
Travis suffers from paranoid schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, which he was taking medication for at the time of his disappearance.
